Victorian erotica: the original cheeky girls - Telegraph

Ever wondered what our great grandparents got up to behind closed doors? A new collection of erotica leaves little doubt, says Guy Kennaway

'I bought my first erotic photograph in the mid-1980s,' Danny Moynihan tells me. 'I had come across some photos of Austrian origin of rather portly looking ladies in petticoats playing with sex toys. I thought they were rather amusing.'

Binoculars are sex toys?  Or is she into voyeurism? She uses them to look out for the birds?

Pornography! you can see her ankles, (and she's got binoculars to lend you in case you cant)

Life should consist in at least fifty percent pure waste of time, and the rest doing what you please.

If it had been LEP posting this I'd have assumed an entirely different meaning to the supplied heading ;-)

I see that I've been away from the OT for too long. As soon as Hillary concedes I'll be back with the latest in fantasy.

Those models look a hell of a lot healthier and saner than the eating-disordered, current ones, don´t they?

For what I hear, pornography today has no suggestiveness left.

Absolutely, todays models not only look malnourished, but also have a bad posture and look as if they are in a progressed state of osteoporosis.

Fashion models and erotic models are still two different things. As wiki says:

Female body shape - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Feminists criticise the excessive emphasis on body shape as part of women's self-image in Western society, and contend that a voluptuous body shape is more typical of real women in the West than the ideal pushed by some parts of the Western media through depictions of extremely thin actresses and fashion models. However, in media made predominantly by and for heterosexual men, such as video games, comic books, sports entertainment, or pornography, a more buxom and curvaceous female ideal is portrayed, one that is more in line with the sexual desires of men than those seen in the fashion or beauty industries.

The busty ideal existing in the hetero male subculture causes its own, different pathologies (mainly: breast enlargement).
