Uranium availability is not an issue. The latest Red Book update shows what everyone has been suspecting, that is, as soon as prospecting started uranium reserves started ballooning. Uranium prospecting is where oil prospecting was about the year 1900.
Switching the entire vehicle park to electrics will take at least 15-20 years, which is why substitute fuels like CTL, GTL, tar sands, heavy oil and CNG will be crucial. And no, there won't be any CCS. Peak oil is not an energy crisis. It is a liquid fuel crisis.
