Did he climb up there on his own?

(My sister's is three months the older than yours, I think, and he started to crawl up only this month)

Nope...he had help from me...and I was close enough to catch him if he started to slide down onto the seat...which he thought was a funny thing to happen...
Obviously easily pleased.

A shutterbug in the making.

Now where are we going and what's with the handbasket?

What is a shutterbug? Tried to google it and all I could figure out is that it might have something to do with cameras. :-)

Thanks, and yes, in this case, Shutterbug seems fitting!

Sam, those pictures are absolutely adorable. I am amazed how fast Christopher is progressing - or maybe it is just time flying by!

I think he's twice as old as he was when I met him... That's how fast he's progressing.

He was 3 months old on Monday 23rd...or 13 weeks old last Sunday...an yes, he is progressing at a crazy rate.  The public health nurse (PHN) tried to tell me on Monday that he'd start crawling at 9 months...and then proceeded to be amazed or confused at him putting weight on his legs when she was testing his 'development'...
I just nod and smile when she's around.  We're not watching a timeline or anything as to when he 'should' be doing things...he's just reading those books himself and wondering why he should wait!!!!
; )

(Sorry should have read on) If he is crawling up already with 3 rather than 9 months, that is really amazing indeed! (And I thought my sisters' is developing fast...)

Today I did something I do not like to do often - shopping. Went with a friend to France and we also had a nice lunch.

What is more I also seem to turn into a real 'Shutterbug'. Not only did I take my camera with me, but I also remembered to use it. All because of the Photoblog. :-)

In Wales:
Is the top photo taken near Notre Dame?

If you are refering to the Notre Dame in Paris - the answer is no! Both pictures were taken today, just across the border from where I live.

Ah, it looks a lot like that very busy bit next to the bridge on the other side of the island that Notre Dame is on. I did think it was probably a little far for you to pop over for a shopping trip!

No direction panel showing ALLEMAGNE in Paris. Also, it's much too clean to be Parisian (and that place is permanently filled with tourists)

I'm guessing it's Saint-Louis, Haut-Rhin.

These tomatoes are part of my shopping today. The red ones are tomate accienne or coeur de boeuf, which I love and the others are kumato or tomate noir, which I have not eaten before.

For photos as usual, a few more horse camp shots, first Zora backlit:

Then her brother, in a hard-to-do shot under the bleachers; no, he's not making the peace sign -- I said "oh, you're under there with a dog" and he's telling me "Two dogs":

And now, here's the outdoors, the hot Austin day, Zora on "Merrylegs" led by her mother (my daughter, of course) with the temperature at almost 100 degrees:

Then here's one for In Wales, which I took of my nephew Dylan... in Wales!:
