I think it was about a year ago that you suggested the way to unify Europe would be with a definitive soccer Euro-Team.

I still think that's an insanely great idea, and worth any number of bureau-blogs and clagged up non-treaties.

Making the champions league something more like a league and euro-international team for the world cup will be better than any teatry.
