Torres was amazing - he consistently outran the German defenders on long balls to the German box.

Yes..a bsolutely he was great..

he did not play at all in the previous games.. adn in the final he makes the  990 minutes of his life..

this is the difference between this generation adn the last.. we do not ahve any "complejo"... how could imagine.. playing your best in the final was an oximoron for Spain twenty years ago.. we ahve changed :)

Oh and rec rec.. this needs to be in the rec list!!!!

Campeones !!!

A pleasure

With Villa not playing le tenía ganas, and he had 4 crack midfielders feeding him balls.

That's 11 victories in a row and 22 games undefeated...

Now the bar will be quite high in South Africa 2010. Del Bosque will do well to maintain the style...

Absolutely.. it will be difficult.. to keep it.. but the players are good people .. that goes a long way like in basket..

it is really amazing how team spirit is one of the most imortant things in these kind of tournament when Spain is considered... you can know if they are going to win or lose (or rach the finals) just by knowing in advance how the peeple get along with each other..

I wonder if it is a spanish stuff or it is more general...

A pleasutre

Nah, Senna was the best! Really.

Perhaps it's that Brazilian touch, but it was a sheer pleasure to watch when Senna was playing. Magic. Ramos comes second for me - always enjoy watching sharp defending: that used to be my favourite position in football. Additionally, the attacking style of the Spanish team operating as a unit was just as beautiful to behold.

I sad that Xavi came in a second close after Sena... and the tournament gave the honor to Xavi and not Sena becasue xavi represented him and the other two midfilders Cesc and Iniesta style.... :)

A pleasure
