However, there is a closure that makes me happy.

There was a virulent far-right Hungarian 'news' site that put LFG or the freepers to shame, with open anti-Gypsy and antisemitic racism. Authorities couldn't reach it, because it resided on a US server, and as we know from several discussions too, freedom of speech trumps everything there.

However, during last weekend's anti-Gay-Parade riots, the servewr weas shut down. A gay association claims that it was their success: they contacted US colleagues.

The fun thing is that at the same time, a site connected to exile Hungarians, and another connected to main opposition party Fidesz also went down - they were on the same server...

with open anti-Gypsy and antisemitic racism.

...and publishing the personal data of politicians, media people and other people they hate, in the style of the anti-abortion terrorists.

Apparenlty, the host was SoftLayer Technologies, Inc.. Allegedly, they have a short communication about the closure, saying they did it after 'discovering' that the site breaks their business rules (ha ha - they could have realised at the time US courts rejected the Hungarian request), but I can't find it. But I found the (anonymous coward) editors put up posts all across the far-right internet from Stormfront to Hungarian sites asking for email complaints to Softlayer, and 'promise' to return on another server. (Wel they sent their error message from a German server for a while, apparently, they got kicked out from there real fast.)
