I miss living in a city with a grid layout. Someone decided that it would be awesome to shut down all the exits on Route 50 in Arlington last night, so finding my way to Rosslyn was quite an adventure.

The humidity (I guess) kept the fireworks from showing up well last night. With twenty minutes, they were half-blocked by the smoke cloud hanging over the Mall. Grrrrrr....

Oh, well. A good, albeit wet, time was had by all, and no yellowjackets this year!
