Can someone tell me what "Show mode" is on an older diary ? I'd like to edit it but can't.

It does give me the edit link, but when I click it, I get the message that it's in "show mode"

I cut and pasted it into Wordpad and edited it there. I can send it to you to be pasted over the whole thing.

I get that message if I try to open an archived diary - I presume it means the archive is write protected?
