And therefore you shouldn't critisise McCain. Not because he is was a POW, or a war hero like Kerry. As a POW he could keep up his honour, his integrity. But this republicans abuse this old man and pressure him into a campaign, where he loses the very things he values most. Voting for McCain is a lack of mercy. But you know, there are sadists. And it's certainly true in the UK that at some point a party of government becomes tired and incapable of renewal. Largely because all of the positions of sufficient power to make change are stuffed with the people who are actually "the problem". It happened with the tories in the 90s, and it's happening with NuLab now. Seems like the republicans are facing this same crisis.
