I've been here since September 21st. It hasn't rained much until yesterday. My sister arrived today from Florida and a cousin is coming down from New York on Saturday -all to see the new baby. I'm going back to Paris next Tuesday.

I've spent all of my time in D.C. and New York and I haven't noticed the recession very much except that many restaurants seem much less busy than they used to. Of course, D.C. was always considered recession proof.

If you're in town during my next visit (April) we can try to arrange an ET D.C. mini meetup

Yes, we should do a mini meetup. We should be back here by then. There must be several of us who are in the DC area permanently or from time to time.
