Well I am managing to keep to a photo a day so far. but several phone taken ones have turned out to be out of focus when I tried them on the laptop, so i shall have to start carrying the Nikon round more generally

Good out-of-focus or bad out-of-focus? Out of focus is not always a bad thing. Anyway, what size are you targeting? 600x600 pixel jpg on ET? How out of focus are they!?
