Went back on a northeastern sentimental journey in 1971, met my wife, had two children, finally escaped with my family in 1979 - straight to the Pacific NW, which is where I was headed in 1971, before my distraction. Mirta and I lived on the westside of Buffalo, then out to a farm in Springville, then back to the westside.
Lots of good memories, little desire to go back. But two friends of mine and I had a wonderful bike trip along the Erie Canal in early October, 2008. paul spencer
