I'm on Hammond.

I can't play, but you only need three notes pressed and held for a fantastic sound...for several minutes,

As a user of the Hammond sound in GarageBand, I concur.  Three notes, following the chords sometimes, but mostly just holding down chords in key.

It's a beautiful thing.

Ok, you take Hammond. You're obviously a pro. I'll maybe take the ukelele then (It is a multi-level garage?) and I can actually play that.

If CH wants drums too, then we can have two drum kits! I always loved double tracking drums when I was producing.

One of my grandfathers brothers looked so much like George Formby that he ended up having to sign his autographs when he was out.

Maybe we could get Crazy Horse to join the band? It might cheer him up a bit.

Ah, the modern American apartment complex comes to Wales.

Gated no less.  Great quality apartments but a bit soulless.

Gated surprises me.  They were building some of these kinds of places in Nottingham while I was there.  Same basic idea: A handful on midrise buildings surrounding a common area/park.  Not gated, though.  Unless they installed the gates later.

We're in a gated one now, although I'm not entirely sure why it's gated.  Because of the road structure, it's a bit isolated, and there isn't really any crime nearby.  (Gates don't really prevent crime, anyway.)  Not optimal for making a getaway unless the thief wants to run a mile to the subway, which I suspect isn't easy when carrying a television or a computer.

Still, this worries me about, because I've always loved the little old terraced houses with the bay windows spreading out from the city centers.  Hopefully soulless apartment complexes don't become the norm over there.

Oh, they've been the around the UK for some time. I lived in one back in the 70s, gated and all, though crisscrossed with public bridle and foot paths. It was named RAF Chicksands and it was a very nice place to live. No aircraft noise.
