Accepting that the world is really run by a small cabal of elites whose names we don't even know can actually be quite liberating.
That's quite understandable. Accepting any set of beliefs that hands off responsibility to distant powers always brings a false sense of liberation. Life is in truth so damn complicated and we will always spend it in uncertainty about where we are heading, what we are doing, whether we are right or wrong, how we can understand others and how we can love, that abdicating the wondering and wandering for a dogma can be quite a relief. That's why doctrines, sects, cults and religions do so well.
Look after yourself, LHM.
"They" are not that smart. Never underestimate their intelligence, always underestimate their knowledge.
Frank Delaney ~ Ireland
Perhaps there is some middle ground.
Create something of value during the day, while during the night destroying something which has no redeeming value beyond providing an edifice against their fear and crippled values. Never underestimate their intelligence, always underestimate their knowledge.
Life is in truth so damn complicated and we will always spend it in uncertainty about where we are heading, what we are doing...
Look after yourself, right... Isn't this what we were emphatically told to do the last decades?
"Look after yourself" was said in the sense "Take care", not "Look out for your own interests".
It's much more of a trick to play on people to offer hermetic organisational principles that Explain Everything.
Confusion is not a problem if you do not make any conclusions or guesses at all. Asking "theoretical" questions can help to take care of yourself in two ways: you still see some picture, and you are better prepared if a theory turns out approximately right. That may also give you some idea when to act and how.

The paths to HERS and BPI certifications in Maryland are much, much shorter due primarily to limited seat availability (<200 public- and private-curricula, combined) and to personal equipment purchases required prior to examination (~USD 8,000).
