This isn't the first time the IRS has threatened to crack down on off-shore tax evaders, and except for rules that have the effect of harassing honest tax payers that happen to have and report off-shore income, I haven't seen or heard of any noteworthy results other than the recent case involving a Swiss bank.  Maybe something worthwhile will occur this time.

the last G20 resulted in an agreement
on how all the G20 countries were going to deal with this --
primarily about making secret accounts public
to the source countries.

This is why the Tax Evaders are "in a panic" about what  to do now --
and their Accountants, and Lawyers are advising
"Pay your Taxes"
