"he's" is correct.

All I know about Bruce is if I hear "Born in the USA" one more time I'm going to hurl.

He's not going to play it live, so don't worry.

How can he not play it?  It's his biggest hit.

AFAIK.

Biggest hit?  No way.  Born to Run has got to be a bigger hit.

Dancing in the Dark, Streets of Philly, etc, too.

I just mentioned Born to Run, because it's, in my experience, easily the most popular of his songs.  And to not like it is practically treason in this country.

Brucie has said that he won't play it.

I thought he'd said he won't play it outside the US.

It's a mis-understood song, the main lyrics expose the  jingoistic seeming chorus as being sarcastic (ironic ?), but sadly all people hear is the apparent triumphalism. So it gets a good response in the US and probably can get a mixed one elsewhere.

Thanks for the correction - it sounds logical. Though I doubt if the Finnish audience at the Tampere gig would have been less than ecstatic if he had played it. Even the PM (he was there with his betrothed) would have stood up and waved his arms.

He may not have played it now, but he certainly played Born in the USA in the fairly recent Live DVD from Barcelona. From what I recall, he actually seemed to enjoy playing the song, too. (Anyway, I already had to go to Tampere for a project steering board meeting and for the Sauna Open Air the same week, so this Turkulainen decided he had seen enough of Tampere for one week ;-)

I prefer the Cheech Marin version: "Borned in East L.A."

He's done a lot more than that, though.
