Excellent framing on the second one, the reflection is great.

You must have some architect blood in you somewhere...

Trying to match perspective to drawn elevations is like trying to make your girlfriend look like Kate Moss. And the only axonometric camera pictures you'll ever see, you'll see on Google Earth. Only great distance disoccludes perspective ;-)

How about conical perspective? Do photo cameras produce that, or not even? Interestingly this article talks of perspective in terms of vanishing points only so that axonometric perspective features nowhere.

As I've mentioned before there is an interesting series of prints in which the Japanese woodcut master Hokusai tries to demonstrate his new-found knowledge of Occidental perspective. He learnt it from a rare foreign visitor to Japan - a Portuguese.

His transition from axonometric to what we would call perspective, was a little bumpy - which these few prints show.

Easiest image of inscribed words in India - sura from Quran on Taj.

I am sure in Quran one can find quote for any occasion.

From close distance it's not easy to put Taj in focus.
