Alright, Helen, so what's your pick?

Mine:

Dolts 37 - 27 Aints

As I said last week, compared to you I know next to nothing about it so any prediction I make might as well be done using astrology. Everybody except NOLA residents seems to expect a Colts victory. I can see the Colts hitting 37, I'm less convinced the Saints will make 27.

I'm hoping it'll be a good match, but it could be all over by half time.

Could be, but everybody figured the game would be over before the second quarter when New England went in undefeated against the Other Manning and New York.

(Still the greatest Super Bowl ever.)

Actually, ditto the last Super Bowl, too.  Although the favorite won, but AZ gave the Yinzers a good run for their money.

Now, as sure as I say that, the Dolts will probably go out and eat NOLA alive, but the last few Super Bowls have been exceptionally good.

Yea, that last minute stuff is always exciting.

I still remember Scott Norwood missing a last minute field goal for buffalo.

Congrats, Drew! from this post I take it that you are not amongst the "hundreds of thousands" who lost power in the D.C. area.

Thankfully, no.  Actually we're pretty much back in business here.  One of our neighbors graciously lent us his shovel, so the wife and I took turns shoveling the truck out, and it only took us about an hour or so.  The road's melting back to normal nicely, too, now that the sun's out.

There's gotta be five feet of snow piled up in front of the truck, though.  Insane.

The storm last week left eight inches, which has mostly now melted, but on Sat. the city plowed our street and left ~two ft. high ridge in front of my mail and paper  boxes and across the entrance to my drive.  I got out that day and cleared a path to the mail and paper boxes and started clearing the ridge in front of my drive. That night city trucks came back and cleared the entrance to the drive.

Sounds like you will be able to make it to work tomorrow. Glad to hear it is melting. Ours melted just in time for more tomorrow.  Got to get in more wood now.
