I remember an employee, Ralph, whom I supervised at the Quaker Oats Company, in poemless' neighborhood, back in the early '80s. I had announced I was leaving in 6 weeks to move back to CA. Ralph was shaking my hand, looked me right in the eye, and said "Good, ... you were too damn good for this place." His words stay with me to this day. In the end, might makes right.
