As a prelude to next week-end's meet-up, we had lunch today in a Turkish restaurant in Paris, with LEP, Mig, Redstar and family. Followed by a stroll uphill to Montmartre to check out the view from the steps of the Sacre Coeur.

(note to Redstar: the building with the green roof and the two square spires is the Church of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul

Weather was gorgeous; hopefully it will be the same next Saturday. Forecast for the next couple of days here (in French).

Europeans think a hundred miles is a long way. Americans think a hundred years is a long time.
