Wimp. C was at a meet-up at six weeks old.

Which is older than exactly one month ;-)
Plus, I think Mouna would be scared of the Eurostar trip with both the newborn and Elwan -maybe if it had been only one she would have considered the trip at that young an age.

Where's your ambition?

Actually, she's the real concern at that stage - the baby doesn't give  a damn where it is so long as there's food, warmth, cuddles and someone to periodically clean poo off it. Whether mommy is up for a trip that soon afterwards isn't something you'd know until after the delivery - after a c-section Sam certainly wouldn't have been travelling anywhere at the end of four weeks, and she made a really fast recovery.

Actually, I'll probably come with Elwan, leaving Emrys and his mum at home.
Yes, I hope one day she feels a bit more daring and realises that the trip would not be traumatic to anyone. But at the moment she is very tired, and probably not that comfortable breastfeeding in public. Also, there are only a few positions that are not too painful for her so she may be worried about the train.

That's a pity, but I'm sure she's right. Sleep deprivation is a real pain in the ass.

Hopefully we'll get a chance to see her in London in December.
