I was wondering about that candidate Jon Huntsman. He had some serious gravitas and administrative, diplomatic experience, playing a gray underdog. He strategically skipped Iowa primaries, then picked up 2 delegates in NH, and... called it quits. It looks like he was scared to win this comic race.

He had no money and less traction. How could a campaign to promote a sane and decent republican ever really take off in these times ? He ain't fighting Nixon or Goldwater.
