When was the last time you read an econ 101 textbook?

- Jake

If you only spend 20 minutes of the rest of your life on economics, go spend them here.

Well, probably a little while since I've read a new printing of one.  Which one are you referring to?

any of the top sellers present Economics as involved with making "positive" statements about the economy, which different people will evaluate differently based on their "normative" views.

I've been accused of being a Marxist, yet while Harpo's my favourite, it's Groucho I'm always quoting. Odd, that.

Mankiw's latest Introduction to Economics. Or something to that effect - I can't be bothered to dig it out of the box I put it in as soon as I was done with that class.

Most econ 101 textbooks are only really useful if you run out of toilet paper. Mankiw's is better than most, but the pages are too wide and not really soft enough.
