Newt Gingrich: A surprising surge, an unpredictable candidate - US POLITICS - FRANCE 24
A former leader of the House of Representatives, with a career that has vacillated wildly between impressive highs and embarrassing lows, Newt Gingrich is enjoying a sudden surge in the race for the Republican presidential nod. Watched the debate last night. My observations:

  1. CNN made the opening sound like a cross between professional wrestling and a sports event.

  2. My ancient TV lost one of its color guns ... all faces are purple. All the candidates look like they're from Jupiter ... appropriate.

Only lasted through 30 minutes. Just couldn't stomach it.

In the end, might makes right. Nothing has changed since the caveman.
