The hen farm is on the edge of a small residential district. At this distance, I couldn't hear even a swoosh from the turbine, but that may have been due to the rain.
From what I found on-line, it is operational since 1996, and is a Seewind SW 20/110 (rotor diameter 20 m, maximum power 110 kW, hub height 31 m). If I a not mistaken, southwest German manufacturer Seewind somehow became part of Danish maker NEG-Micon which itself merged into Vestas. *Lunatic*, n. One whose delusions are out of fashion.
