Somehow I doubt the human toll Brexit is placing on immigrants in the UK is to the forefront of the minds of either the UK or EU negotiators.  Pawns in a game of chicken, perhaps. Bargaining chips at best. And who knows how they will be treated in a "no-deal" scenario?  The "economically useful" will no doubt be tolerated, provided they don't cause any hassle for their employers. And like illegal/undocumented immigrants everywhere, their bargaining powers on wages and conditions will be severely impacted, which is why employers like them so much...
