Welcome to the new version of European Tribune. It's just a new layout, so everything should work as before - please report bugs here.
This sort of acclaim (and there are countless examples, notably commercial sale of logs-burning-in-a-hearth w/ or w/o musical soundtrack) belongs to dada and ready made (cf. Duchamp, Arp) "aesthetic" expressions of west world ennui. I am not much impressed by hindsight art criticism mounting the vanguard on WWI; the M.O. has persisted --through devastation by wars, "conflicts", peace, cyclical credit collapse, sexual liberations, and so forth.

The industrial revolution is the heart of this generational cultural commentary.

Diversity is the key to economic and political evolution.
