Where do you live?

Earlier this week Dodo put up this to find out what languages we have here on European Tribune.

I have another "project" I'd like to start as well.

I've set up a EuroTrib group on Frappr, a website that uses Google maps to plot members of groups out on a map.  In Europe, there are lots of areas where there aren't street maps (the Continent), but it will give you a basic idea where everyone is at. I hope that lurkers will be willing to sign up also.  We're getting big enough here at ET that these demographic diaries are really infromative.

Update [2006-1-14 20:16:12 by ManfromMiddletown]: We've got 9 people signed as of 01:00 GMT. I've centered the map on, so that most of Europe will fit into the screen. You can scroll on the map too. The American contingent is well represented, too.

I'm off to get some a wirless keyboard for my new laptop (expect to see more of me now that I don't have to brave our frigid basement to write.)

ManFromMiddletown? Inside the highway ring, but ten miles from the center :-) ...and a half-mile from a railroad!

Ah, so you don't live underneath that big tree where "Budapest, Hungary" points to on that link :))

I know a lot of us here like trees, but ...

I don't see why I should have to give these people my email to use the service. I already get enough junk email. Perhaps you can find a less intrusive way to conduct your poll.

By the way, I live just outside NYC on Long Island.

I can add you without adding your email address if you'd like.  We can put you in by your zip code if you'd like.

I have been registered at the Frappr/Booman site for a few months.  No spam received.
