There is a long interview in Corriere della Sera with Patrizia D'Addario published last night.

For once it's Corriere della Sera who got the scope. Ferruccio de Bortoli has just returned to the Corriere after a long stint at Sole24 Ore, the Italian financial daily. De Bortoli had been ousted previously for his stubborness in covering Berlusconi's trials- although de Bortoli has never spoken of it in those terms.

"Più erotica di Mara Carfagna" ha affermato Brass per il quale il merito di tutte queste bellezze è proprio del premier.

Italian film makers have attacked the imposition of a 25 per cent duty on profits from films, shows and books that have an "explicit" sexual content as part of the Berlusconi Government's anti-crisis "stimulus package". Dubbed a "porno tax" by the Italian media, it applies to works that contain "images or scenes depicting explicit sexual acts not simulated between consenting adults". Sandro Bondi, the Culture Minister, is to decide what constitutes explicit or pornographic scenes. Tinto Brass, a director of erotic films, said that the tax was "devastating, disastrous. Obviously, they don't want people to have fun."

With the present wiretap law, we would have seen Elliot Ness calling up Al Capone to ask his permission to be wiretapped. And only after three judges from different jurisdictions granted a thirty day period, renewable only once. However with the Lodo Alfano, Capone could not even have been investigated were he president.

The present case in Bari was discovered thanks to wiretaps. I would not rule out that there are moles within the various procuras- or within the Telecom structures (responsible for wiretap operations) that keep either Alfano, Ghedini and Berlusconi informed of top secret investigations.

The vulnus of the matter is that there is the suspect that Berlusconi exchanges corruption for sex. As one of the richest men in Europe apparently it's a more interesting exchange.

Silvio Berlusconi was embroiled in fresh controversy yesterday as prosecutors opened an inquiry into allegations that showgirls were paid to attend parties at his villa in Sardinia and his residence in Rome.

ANSA, the Italian news agency, confirmed that the prosecutor's office in Bari in southern Italy was seeking to establish whether payments to women to attend "private residences in Rome and Sardinia" had involved "induction into prostitution".

It is illegal to solicit in public. Maisons are illegal. Prostitution racketeering is illgal- pimps, that sort of stuff.

Prostitutes may run their own business so long as their is no public soliciting.

Ms. D'Addario was recently presented as a local political candidate supporting Mr. Berlusconi's party.

She alleges that Berlusconi did not come through on a promise to facilitate a personal building permit. She also declared that her house was burglurized mysteriously. Although Berlusconi just visited Bari for the election campaign, she was not allowed to follow his entourage. Apparently a series of delusions prompted her decision to out Berlusconi. At the same time, unknown to her, there was an investigation into prostitution racketeering by the procura of Bari stemming from an investigation into corruption practices in hospital contracts and construction.

There is another error that escaped me: D'Addario actually consumed her relation with Berlusconi on Obama's election night. She had not been chosen on a previous occasion in mid-October 2008.
