Labours terrorist campaign

After the several arrests for photographing public buildings that have taken place under section 44 of the UK's terrorism act, what does Labour do as part of its campaign?

Change We See - The Labour Party

Since 1997, we've changed this country - rebuilding the lives of children, older people and families. Make no mistake this could not have happened without supporters like you.

Now we face an opposition who wants to deny our successes and cut the public services we rescued. We must stand together and show how proud we are of these historic achievements.

That's right appeal for people to send in before and after photos of public buildings to show how things have improved under Labour.

I think my Irony meter has exploded.

Am I the only one who's thinking about taking pictures of a building with CCTV cameras and photoshopping out the cameras for the "before" picture?

just need to find a place with enough cameras to make it really obvious

If you're lucky you'll be able to upload some snaps of the plod's hi-viz jackets as they come to arrest you.

Where are you ever going to find a place like that in Britain?

Be nice to America. Or we'll bring democracy to your country.

I'm sure you can find before and after pictures of a lot of houses in Fallujah... Not sure they'll be used, though.

Labour: Change we see but you can't photograph - Telegraph Blogs

Labour seems to have forgotten one of the first principles of crowd-sourcing: the crowd may see things very differently from you.

The party has launched a social media campaign, entitled "Change we see", which asks people to share photographs of buildings that illustrate Labour's achievements since 1997. They hoped for images of hospitals, schools, Sure Start centers and the like.

Instead, photographers have pointed out that one change they have seen is a rise in the number of stop and searches by the police. So instead of adding pretty pictures of their local hospital to the Flickr group, they have uploaded copies of the stop and search forms they were given while trying to take photos in public places

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.
