Rumors were true.

Dell Says Goodbye to Wall Street:

Dell announced today that it has completed the terms of a deal that will take the company private, buying out stockholders at $13.65 a share in a $24.4 billion deal partially bankrolled by Microsoft. When the deal is complete, the company will be owned by a small group of private investors led by Dell CEO and founder Michael Dell and the investment firm Silver Lake.

The deal was partially financed by MicroSoft ($2 billion.)

Spoiler: Stallone is in favour of gun control including assault weapons, Willis is hard core NRA second amendment.

(I had them the other way round. Shows what I know. Sorry I doubted you, star of Cobra.)

And I'll be damned if I haven't just paid two teacher's salaries, net. (thruth be told, I'm glad to do it.)

Of course, I'm not part of the elite here. I do my part, but I certainly don't think my birthright is worth anything my people can do.

Good for y'all thinking just because you pay the taxes you should means you are a good person.

I am truly sure, living in France, that not only do you live well, but you also sleep well.

According to The Scotsman, Independence is planned for Mar 2016 which should allow enough time to deal with minor details such as the EU, who controls how much money the banks print, who gets the oil, who is responsible for  the Malvinas and so on.

But they didnt specify an exact date. They must do that. Here are two suggestions:

  • Mar 25
[Robert the] Bruce was crowned King of Scots by Bishop William de Lamberton at Scone, near Perth on 25 March 1306 with all formality and solemnity.
  • Or there's Mar 21
The Battle of Baugé, fought between the English and the Franco-Scots on 21 March 1421 at Baugé, France, east of Angers, was a major defeat for the English in the Hundred Years' War.

  • Any other suggestions.

Soccer friendly last night, France 1 - 2 Germany.

Apparently it's the first time Les Schleus have beaten Les Bleus since 1987 (that year, both the BRD and the DDR beat France)
