UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain welcome Trump's exit from Iran nuclear deal | The National - UAE |

The president said in his announcement that US had consulted with `friends from across the Middle East' ...

The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain announced on Tuesday their support for US withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, with Riyadh's ambassador to Washington blasting Tehran's malicious behaviour in the Middle East.

The Emirates, according to a statement released by the official news agency, issued its support for Mr Trump's decision, and called upon the international community and parties in the Iran nuclear agreement to "heed Mr Trump's call for a Middle East free of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction."

[Plus a handshake on ten of billions worth of fighter aircraft and armaments  :( - Oui]

Both Saudi Arabia and Bahrain also issued statements welcoming Mr Trump's decision. Riyadh's statement, which came less than an hour after Mr Trump's decision, said it "supports and welcomes" the US decision.

"Saudi Arabia's past support for the nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1 was based on its firm belief in the need to work on everything that would limit the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the Middle East and the world" it added.

However, it then pointed to Iran's destabilising activities in the region, especially through the development of ballistic missiles, and its support for terrorist groups in the region, such as the Houthis which "used the capabilities transferred by Iran to target civilians in the Kingdom and Yemen and repeated exposure international shipping lanes, and in flagrant violation of the resolutions of the Security Council," as reasons why it is withdrawing the support today.

In Washington, Saudi ambassador Prince Khalid bin Salman reiterated the support, and said the nuclear deal "has fueled Iran's malicious expansion driven by its extremist ideology."

Trump's revenge on President Obama after embarrassing him at the Press dinner  .... Barack never was a friend of the Trumps like Hillary was. One recognizes a person by the company he/she keeps. Sheez ... and Murdock too? Well, it's the corruption of New York, isn't it?

Barack too never really got loose from the strings of Wall Street and the MIC - Pentagon and Langley. But he was president for eight years, all that rest are good memories and the Affordale Care Act (ACA).

Trump's team snooped on Obama officials. That's gutter politics | The Guardian Opinion - Jill Abramson |

The only leader who has tried harder than Trump to kill the Iran deal is Benjamin Netanyahu, which is why, no doubt, the Israeli firm [Black Cube] was hired shortly after Trump visited Tel Aviv and met with the Israeli prime minister to discuss it.

This kind of gutter politics is also signature Netanyahu, who, like Trump, is facing an epic corruption investigation [Lahav 433] that could cost him his job.

The CIA's piggyback operation that undermined UNSCOM inspections in Baghdad - 1999 | Arms Control - | The Guardian |

UNSCOM's credibility with some members of the Security Council suffered greatly following March 1999 reports that U.S. intelligence had not only benefited from cooperation with UN inspectors, but had used UNSCOM to "piggyback" independent intelligence gathering operations in Iraq.

    ...
Unscom technicians occasionally noted "burst transmissions" but were unable to identify their source. But an Iranian spy in Baghdad was more successful and signalled back to Tehran a message saying that the US was running an electronic espionage operation within Unscom.

British intelligence intercepted the Iranian message, but when it asked the US National Security Agency for an explanation in May 1997, the NSA gave none.

    ...
The Washington Post revealed that from 1996, UNSCOM provided information to the US that could pinpoint the whereabouts of Saddam Hussein and reveal his security precautions.

Until 1998, this was done using Israeli-supplied hand-held devices capable of monitoring and recording radio communications. The recordings were analysed in Israel, Britain and the US.

In 1998, the "US took control of the operation", the Post reported, and installed a sophisticated "black box" able to automatically send intercepted messages via a "satellite relay in a nearby country to the National Security Agency at Fort Meade [Maryland, USA]".

Iranian hardliners rejoice over US exit from nuclear deal | The Guardian |

Hardliners in Iran are rejoicing at Donald Trump's decision to unilaterally pull the US out of the 2015 nuclear deal and reimpose economic sanctions, and seizing on an opportunity to consolidate their power over reformists who championed the pact.

The commander of Iran's powerful Revolutionary Guards "congratulated" the nation on the US exit from the deal. According to the semi-official Fars news agency, the commander, Mohammad Ali Jafari said: "I congratulate and take into a good deed the vicious withdrawal of the US from JCPOA, which was not credible even before the withdrawal ... It was proved once more that US isn't trustworthy in regards its commitments."

At the opening session of the Iranian parliament, a group of hardline MPs held up a paper US flag and the text of the 2015 landmark nuclear deal, also known as the joint comprehensive plan of action (JCPOA), before setting fire to both while chanting "death to America".

US blog: Mossad behind Iran blast | Ynet News - Nov. 2011 |

US blogger Richard Silverstein said that Israel was the mastermind behind the blast the killed at least 17 people at an Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps base near Tehran.

In his blog, Tikun Olam, Silverstein quotes an Israeli expert as saying that the Mossad was responsible for the explosion, in collaboration with the Iranian militant opposition group Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK).

"It is widely known within intelligence circles that the Israelis use the MEK for varied acts of espionage and terror ranging from fraudulent Iranian memos alleging work on nuclear trigger devices to assassinations of nuclear scientists and bombings of sensitive military installations," Silverstein said.

He attributed an incident similar to Saturday's explosion which occurred at a different IRGC missile base last year to Mossad sabotage.

'External sabotage unlikely'

Meanwhile, a former IRGC soldier said that the explosion occurred at military storage facility where Shihab missiles are stored. Hamed Ebrahimi, who served at the base for two months, told the Iranian online daily Rooz that the tough security at the facility makes it highly unlikely that the blast was caused by an act of external interference.

Trump Renounces Iran Nuclear Deal | Tikun Olam |

Today, Donald Trump made the momentous decision not just to withdraw, but to vehemently denounce America's greatest foreign policy achievement in the past decade. We are leaving the Iran nuclear deal. In doing so, we not only reveal our hatred of Iran, but our disdain for our own allies, with whom the previous administration negotiated this deal. This is a new low in U.S. foreign policy. It marks the full triumph of America's most isolationist, Islamophobic and reactionary forces in determining our relations with the world.

The last time Trump determined we would remain in the JCPOA, the president was restrained by pragmatists like Rex Tillerson, H.R. McMaster and Jim Mattis. Today, two of them are gone, replaced by a lunatic former Congressman, Mike Pompeo, and a militant adherent of bizarre conspiracy theories, John Bolton. They hold the keys to the Trump kingdom. They promise to take our country to dark places we haven't been before; or at least have not been in many decades.

Back to the period of the Cold War, when we had a single sworn enemy, Communism, and devoted all our resources to combating it. Back to a nuclear arms race in which we built ever greater weapons of mass destruction needed, or so we thought, to defend us; but which in fact destabilized the world and made it a far more dangerous place.

Today, we are closer than ever to massively destabilizing an already unstable region: the Middle East. Trump, in his speech, essentially declared war on Iran, without using those terms. He offered curses and insults to its government. He advocated for regime change, though again without using those explicit terms. Though it may be too early to tell for sure, the chances of a military attack on Iran by Israel and the U.S. just increased, perhaps exponentially.

Richard Silverstein has been one of the great sources on the covert war between Israel and Iran in the 21st century!

Western Wall train station to be named after Donald Trump | Ynet News |

Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz approved recommendations made by Israel Railways' steering committee to create a train station in the Jerusalem Jewish Quarter's Cardo, located several dozen meters from the Western Wall. He also decided to name it after US President Donald Trump, to thank him for recognizing the city as Israel's capital.

The final route of the Kotel train project, Yedioth Ahronoth has learned, will include a three-kilometer long subterranean tunnel connecting "HaUma" train station (named for former President Yitzhak Navon) with the Western Wall.

According to the plan, a tunnel will be excavated from HaUma station that will contain two underground stations, 52 meters below street level. The two stations will be "City Center" station on the intersection of the Jaffa and King George Streets and the second--the "Donald John Trump, Western Wall" station--near the Cardo in the Old City's Jewish Quarter.

Iran is not isolated when sanctioned by the bad and ugly American. On the contrary, the EU will desperately try to loosen the banking and financial ties to the US that make the sanctions regime so much easier - rethink the so-called War on Terror of George Bush and Ariel Sharon.

The US, UK jointly with Israel and the Gulf States should isolate themselves from the global community.

Eurasia and the alliances such as Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) will pull Iran into their hemisphere.

Not only due to their extended common border, but Pakistan will play a crucial role whether to choose for the bribes from Saudi Arabia or connect to the East and seek Eurasia cooperation. Kashmir, India and the new Silk Route will fulfill an important role to unite nations with trade.
