I'm not exactly a frequent poster here, but always enjoyed reading the site. A long time ago someone posted a diary about Sudoku, and for a while I got quite hooked on the little number puzzle by following a link to an online Sudoku Site in the comments. A fortnight ago the Danish conservative newspaper Berlingske Tidende posted an interesting article, indirectly commenting on the current cartoon controversy.

Last year the BBC's Radio 3 made headlines when they offered up Beethoven's nine symphonies for download as MP3's. The offer was met with a tremendous response: more than a million downloads was registered during the month the experiment lasted.
Now the Danish equivalent of BBC, Danmarks Radio, has launched a similar experiment as part of the celebrations of Mozart's 250th anniversary. During the next month, nine of Mozart's 41 symphonies will be offered for download in recordings by the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra as high quality MP3 files (256 kbps). Google has just launches the beta version of a fascinating new product, which relates clearly to the powers of self-publishing that the advent of blogs has brought into existence, and which seems to open a large spectrum of promising possibilities for making information freely available.
