I am a transplanted Canadian living in Connecticut. Like many of you I have been appalled at the direction of the USA for the last decade or so. I know that there are many  in the USA that truly appreciate the efforts many of you have added to the causes on this side of the pond and, more importantly, to the global issues that we all must struggle through together.

At this time of celebration because of the US election results, I would like to, on behalf of myself, my American friends and our other North American friends, thank you all kindly for any and everything that you may have done to help make the world a better place.

You are all a huge part of the biggest think tank and political action group on earth. The Progressive Blogosphere? Left Blogistan? The liberalsphere? Blogtopia? Whatever you want to call it. None of that matters.

What does matter is that we, over here, are thankful that Bush nightmare is coming to an end. And we are thankful that so many of you were a part of it.
