I don't want to pretend that I have anything important to say right now. In fact, you might be upset with me for posting this diary...but I figured that what with all the extremely intelligent and thoughtful comments and diaries and front-page posts, that Eurotrib could use a little bit of my rambling.
So the thing is, I'm upset. I'm upset for many reasons. So here's a list of reasons why I am upset, in order of...importance? Reason # 1: The Spurs (pro basketball) choked hard tonight, so onward we go to a game seven. Reason # 2: Where the hell did this boyscout come from? If you have no idea what that was about, welcome to the club. To be honest, I read the news pretty often, but until this afternoon I had not heard of anything involving boyscouts in weeks. I couldn't tell you what the last thing I heard about boyscouts was exactly, but I'm sure it was negative...I mean, come on. (If you were a boyscout at any point and love the organization, I'm kidding) Reason # 3: Fucking Spurs. Reason # 4: Hmm...I'm pretty upset about the Spurs to be honest, but I'm also pretty pissed off about George W. Bush. He's the president of America, in case you didn't know. I'm not a fan. Reason # 5: Well, I'm kinda pissed about going to Florida. Short version of that one...well, I'm in college, and like most good middle-class white americans I'm paying for college with a combination of money from my parents and student loans. Ah, student loans...they also piss me off, so I will make them Reason # 5.5. Anyway, Florida is scary enough, but North Florida is basically Alabama. I don't know if I could write anything more insulting. (if you are from Alabama, I'm just jok...no, you SHOULD be ashamed) Reason # 6: Well, to be honest, I haven't yet figured out a point for this diary except my own bitching, so I'll say this... How great are these blogs? I would have gone absolutely insane the past two years or so without these crazy bastards writing up their opinions and posting them online for our consumption. And I mean bastards in the most complimentary sense. But anyway, to you crazy kids and your blogs...I salute you. Thanks for keeping us updated whenever you wanted to (almost as much as we would like...almost) and, yeah....cheers. But yes, in the end, this dairy has no true point. It is nothing but me rambling at 1am in the morning, rambling online to a few crazy Europeans that are hanging out at work (home). In the end, I think we can all learn a lesson or two from this. Lesson # 1 that we learned: Well, it's obvious that I should not write a diary after consuming Rum. Or after a Spurs game... Lesson # 2 that we learned: Um...hmm. I got nothing here. I guess just keep fighting the good fight...those would be my inspirational words for the evening/morning. Hey, and if you hate this diary...comment anyway, just for fun, right?
