We haven't had one of these in a while and since a certain momentous event further described below the fold - it might be - as an anti-metaphor and antithesis, to why I started the series also be the last.

In one of the recent energy diaries the 5MW Turbine came up. And since we are all a little bit of nerds, and I happen to be working for a company involved, here are some pictures, that I hope you will enjoy.
Warning, this is a picture heavy dairy, and might sound like a press --- release...

I am in a fowl mood today. Wife 300 miles away and I am told my job will finish at the end of June. BASTARDS!
So, I am reading all these Diaries about divisive issues and that gets me thinking, and I have to agree with those that say, petrol tax is not really a problem, at least that can be discussed rationally. There are however aspects that are so divisive that it becomes funny again. Comments >> (16 comments) by PeWi

It was a long day for me but I am still at work research for a book, and I came across this:
So your task, for this diary. Find bridges, that are award winning or aren't quite used in the way originally intendet.

Thanks to DowneastDem and his diary on pope benedict's thoughts about love and social justice
At first I only wanted to comment, but then the comment developed into a fuller parsing of the text, so I decided to make my own diary. I meant to read the enzyclica anyway, since I wanted to write about it in my Church Magazine that I edit (not available online!) Then I started reading and after a while I got bored and ran out of time and decided that I would not finish and blog about it at all, but then Agnes made this diary and so I thought, I want to contribut as well, and got this out of hiding So here goes. I love Market research. i financed parts of my degree with being a guinea pig and pretending to be a heavy smoker, who had just had a dental operation so I could not smoke during the interview (I hate smoking) - So yes, I am highly cynical about Market research, but I don;t bypass a chance to tick boxes and confuse them... O.k I know enough about statistics that the outliers are usually eliminated, but still, it pays for the sandwich.

"I have to admit the mood of the meeting was a bit cynical," Renate Gensch, the head of the paper's works' council told the Guardian. "Mr Montgomery doesn't speak German. We all have heard that the Syrians are upset that they are accused of being involved in the killing of the former Lebanese Prime minister. But what is interesting is that the guy that did the research did not want this information to be published
- because it was only one single source that supported it. In einer neuen Fassung habe er die Namen gelöscht, weil sie von einem Zeugen nur genannt und nicht bestätigt worden seien. "Es hätte einen falschen Eindruck" von Schuld erwecken können, sagte Mehlis.
Now Rice is calling to invade Syria. - well not quite yet : find a way to hold Syrian authorities accountable. Comments >> (9 comments)
