Interview Tomorrow with Richard Gage, AIA

by Diane G
Thu Apr 1st, 2010 at 07:50:06 AM EST

Wild Wild Left Radio is proud to announce that we will be interviewing Richard Gage, AIA on our BTR show tomorrow at 6pm EDT.

Richard Gage, AIA, is a San Francisco Bay Area architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is the founding member of AE911Truth.org. He has been a practicing architect for over 20 years and has worked on most types of building construction, including numerous fire-proofed steel-framed buildings.

Mr. Gage became interested in researching the destruction of the WTC high-rises after hearing the startling conclusions of a reluctant 9/11 researcher, David Ray Griffin, on the radio in 2006, which launched his own unyielding quest for the truth about 9/11.

This will be your opportunity to hear from the leading expert on the subject of why from a scientific standpoint the "official" story is not only improbable, but IMPOSSIBLE. He has compiled the evidence from every leading architect and engineer in the field.

Please visit www.ae911truth.org, and acquaint yourself with their mission, and Sign the Petition for a new, thorough, unbiased investigation into what happened on 9/11. Available there is the enlightening Documentary "911: Blueprint for Truth~The Architecture of Destruction" which you can view wholly online, or purchase to share with everyone you know.

You can listen to our show by clicking this link tomorrow at 6, or by phone, calling 646-929-1264.

You may ask questions in chat, or by calling the number. Richard Gage, AIA, will be available from 6-7, so keep your questions brief, we will only be able to take a limited number of calls. We have added an additional hour for discussion after the interview, and will welcome other survivors or people with information to join in at that time.

Looking forward to seeing you there,

Diane Gee & Michael Gottlieb, Wild Wild Left Radio

Please feel free to cross post this message wherever you blog, to facebook, twitter or just tell your friends!

Wild Wild Left Radio # 56 - Policing Protesters: From Preschoolers to Politicians

by Diane G
Fri Mar 12th, 2010 at 06:45:30 AM EST

Tonight at 6PM Eastern Time, WWL Radio!!!!!

Gottlieb and Diane G. will be live and in color (or is that off color?) on WWL radio tonight at 6pm Eastern Time to guide you through Current Events taken from a Wildly Left Prospective.

Hear the Unreported & Under Reported Headlines stories you should be paying attention to, from US Politics, to the farthest reaches of the Earth.

Welcome to the State of No Dissent in the Land of Discontent.

From "Peace Officers" brutalizing 5 year olds, to so-called "Left bloggers" like dKouchebag Markos Moulitsas attacking Kucinich, we are in a world where advocacy for People's rights or self-determination is now verboten.

Peaceful protesters from U.C. Davis were beaten and dragged last week, to nary an outcry from the public; a public now inured to being monitored from cradle to grave. We have given up our right to privacy, free speech and that "rugged individualism" in order to have a false sense of security.

This is not entirely a new thing in our history of repression and division, what is new is the conditions under which it takes place. At least 50 million people are ill-fed -- up from 37 million just a year ago, and because of the Jim Crow Drug Laws, a black child born today is less likely to be raised by both parents than a black child born during slavery! As the discontent among the oppressed grows, so grows the industry of repression: Tasers, sound cannons, advanced riot-control devices like micro-waves and drones dropping prozac bombs. As the "enemies" (read free-thinkers) rebel, our very educational means are being stripped from us, whole school districts shutting down, teachers fired and students are being economically barred from attending Universities. They want us compliant, dumb and afraid.

Sinclair Lewis said, "When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross."

We think he is right. Welcome to the Police State.

Pressure Triggers and Unity: A US/European Comparative Thesis

by Diane G
Sat Feb 20th, 2010 at 02:32:57 PM EST

I have postulated here, and on Eurotrib about something I see as the possible problematic source of the lack of progress by the United States compared to our European counterparts.

This is my basic premise:

Size matters.

Switzerland is about the size of Vermont and New Hampshire combined. It is 10 times smaller than California alone.

England is approximately the size of Alabama.

History Matters.

European nations have a common History; each country has a collective consciousness of their historical trials and triumphs, from Wars to Coups to plagues to Religious transformations.

Ethnicity Matters.

European nations each have their own genetic physical similarities, language (dialects notwithstanding) and customs that help them self identify.

I will use all three of these memes to describe what constitutes a tribal-reaction among people and the likelihood it could occur in these United States, and why it has not as of yet.

Wild Wild Left Radio #53 How a Revolution Sounds

by Diane G
Fri Feb 19th, 2010 at 08:04:21 AM EST

Tonight at 6PM Eastern Time, WWL Radio!!!!!

Gottlieb and Diane G. will be live and in color (or is that off color?) on WWL radio tonight to guide you through Current Events taken from a Wildly Left Prospective.

Hear the Unreported & Under Reported Headlines stories you should be paying attention to, from US Politics, to the farthest reaches of the Earth.

Marking the start of a new year of shows, we have an intense and exciting show planned for tonight!

The Joe Stack story is a controversial and polarizing story. Terrorist? Criminal? Revolutionary? Do his final words reflect the frustration of a nation, or the petulance of a tax evader? Do the ends ever justify the means?

This cannot be framed without speaking to the recent poll that shows 80% of Americans do not believe that the Federal Government has the consent of the Governed. While the same statistics show those in the government believe they are representing us, the flood of vacated seats belies a discontent bubbling upward to their positions as well.

People are aware the mood on the ground is becoming increasingly ugly, and now the numbers substantiate this. Is this how revolutions begin?

Or will the Revolution be thwarted before it starts? They are again attempting to control our means of communication and organization on the web. The latest? Internet "Driver's Licenses" that will make anonymity a thing of the past.

In International News, we will be examining Mossad's assassination of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh.

Controversy? We face it. Cutting Edge? We step over it. Revolutions start with information, and The Wild Wild Left Radio brings you the best in information and op/eds from a position that others on the Left fear to tread.

Be there!

A US Mentality Primer: Polarizing Conditions

by Diane G
Thu Feb 18th, 2010 at 09:49:37 AM EST

Cross posted from The Wild Wild Left

I've been trying to wrap my head around something that has been bugging me since last Friday night. You see, I went of on a wee quip/tear into how the "idiots on the right" vote against their own interests on our WWL Radio Show. I was using scathing sarcasm for the laugh, and used every stereotype in the book: religion, trailer parks, pickups and teeth. It was funny. It rang of truth too. I listened to the show a few days later. Yep, good radio all around. Still, it bugged me. I don't think it was from any sense of guilt for not being PC, I am as good with being the brunt of a joke as the dealer.

I stewed on it.

Photobucket

People trained in human psychology and marketing; think tanks, if you will, have done their job well. Even on me.

You see, the more you challenge someone, the more they are made to feel backed into a corner, the more they will dig in and fight. They will even defend the indefensible, without reason, with only the reactionary reflex humans have.

They have created such polarizing conditions between this country's denizens that we may as well be riding the bike above. We ain't goin' nowhere.
