Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

You make a valid point that I always like to bring out when I decide to annoy some of my friends who are further to the left than me. Che Guevara was a doctor who trampled his Hippocratus oath and went on to kill soldiers in Bolivia. Now, soldiers in the deep Bolivian rural areas, at the time and perhaps still now, were essentially jobless poor people, who joined the army for lack of a better opportunity. Killing such people in the name of freedom, was not the smartest way to fight against oppression.
