BTW, in Europe, the general rule is that votes can be counted slower in the cities, and as cities have more left-wing voters, during counting there is usually a shift favorable to them.

So if the same rules apply in Chile (possibly not), maybe Bachelet's final percentage can still get above 50%.

Indeed. With 56.5% counted (found official source!), it's 45,68% - 25,83% - 23,32%. Bachelet one percentage point up, but this 'speed' won't be enough for 50%.
