Orange hotel Scheveningen

Scheveningen prison was a high security area for Dutch nationals arrested for resistance to German occupation. The SD Sicherheit Dienst had some mansions in The Hague for prisoner torture, the Germans worked with Dutch corroborators who spied on their neighbors. After torture, imprisonment in Scheveningen and tribunal, the key persons would be executed in the dunes nearby on the Waalsdorpervlakte.
