A EuroTribuPedia might be a good idea. It would let us put in more detailed notes about things that will need to be defined for readers.

It may take people a little while to figure out Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the various other Irish words I'm going to need to throw in, and constantly defining them is going to be wearing.

Perhaps in the meantime, you could do a diary entry that would serve as a dictionary of Irish terms.  Then you could just link back to it somewhere on your posts.  Not the most elegant solution, but it might save you some headaches and it would be useful.
