Yes!  I was thinking this place would give me a nice shot in the arm of the culture and progressive ideals that seem so particular to Europe, but ... well, now I am just jealous!  I wanna go on holiday in a quaint European town too!  ...Preferably somewhere in the south of France ...  Oh, this is painfull ...

But don't say you'll never be able to travel.  It really is not impossibe.  It just takes some serious planning and saving.  But any sacrifices you have to make to travel are most often well worth it.
