Heh,
we saw that on the TV-news here last night.

Excessive heat is not exactly our problem in eastern Norway today - we'll be lucky if it goes beyond 20°C (68°F).  Should it happen, we could always head to this place:

Which is close to the city centre and has a view in to City Hall.
In the spirit of your post I should add that there is a 'normal' section and a nudist section on this beach.

as a male tourist in Norway '86 I found Songsvann (sp?) Park much more entertaining, even though bottoms were covered. And no boom boxes, so a very quiet natural setting, so one of my favourite memories...

hmmfff, had to put a "u" in favorite to keep the spell check happy!!! When in Rome...

NVA, a viable option when the political process fails.

Sognsvann (switch the g and n) is great.  There are a couple of other lakes as well close to the city centre.
I took my son to Bogstadvannet yesterday afternoon.
