Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

The thing that comes to mind is hosting at prq.se. They are the hosts of kavkazcenter.com (chechen news service, which prq have defended against FSB related hackers as well as attacks through diplomatic channels) and were at least the hosts of The Pirate Bay. Most of their servers were taken in the Pirate Bay raid (leading to the Pirate Bay demonstrations), probably in an attempt at scaring others from hosting similar sites. So they are both proponents of free speach and deserve to get some business after taken a punch for free speach.

Now they are back under the slogan prq - lightning never strikes twice!

Their pricelist is in swedish, but send an email to info@prq.se and describe what we need (storagespace, number of ip-adresses (one I guess), bandwidth and so on) and they will give you a price.

Thanks!  If I had the choice (cough cough!  If we had the choice, who are we etc.) I'd send the e-mail immediately.

(I hate taking up your thread space like this...)

Can anyone offer us the requisite tech. details so I (or someone else?  I'm no techie, so I don't think I'm the best qualified for this kinda conversation)...so that we in some form can contact prq.se and get some numbers, see if it's possible?  I know there was strong support from all aspects of the ET community for physically hosting the site in the EU.

(I also know this creates a whole heapa internal going on external politics, but you is all so good at politics, and what with us being a bunch of progressives...)

prq.se sounds a great organisation to support with our cash.

Don't fight forces, use them R. Buckminster Fuller.
