I found the welcome glacial, and so did a couple of other Energizers. There seems to be such an absolute hostility to the idea of the gas tax, that it's even impossible to contemplate trying to change mentalities on this topic, or on the wider topic of taxes.

Kossacks do not seem willing to challenge the now prevalent idea that all taxes are evil.
