Actually, according to you and U of Michigan, wouldn't CPE help the social security deficit?--ie.  kill'em off before they have a chance to use a lot of, or any of, their pension.  <snark> -:)

actually, ironically, the majority of healthcare spend is spent the few years of life.  since everyone has a last few years of life, the spending on average (some people cost nothing becaused they die in a car accident) occurs for everyone.  I know it's a sick way of looking at it--but longer life tends to cost the healthcare system more money, because of this factor.
