No time to comment further on cher J's excellent deconstruction effort.  Just wanted to say that farmers and other folks make some good money renting bits of land to cell phone companies to situate repeater towers -- that doesn't make cell phone service necessarily a bad idea :-)  nor have I heard NIMBY groups complaining about those cell towers (which admittedly are smaller than wind towers, but do tend to be on high terrain and skylines)...  just a stray thought.
