Keeping the internet open, preventing the strengthening of intellectual property laws, reasonable patent law (what if someone patented your genes?)... is a very important issue. The fact is, the mainstream left-of-centre and righ-of-centre parties in Europe are nearly indistinguishable in their economic policy.
