But in the same time the EU is working on expanding, regulations, taxations, noise-levels of airports. There is a lobby of regional airports very active in Brussels now. They hope on a part of the cake as well. So if the EU puts his money in high speed trains what will be left for this regional airports? So they are questioning this and point to the massive amount of money going to the trains which will be 'unfair competition'. The struggle of man against tyranny is the struggle of memory against forgetting.(Kundera)
