Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

Another deleted comment!

The first sour note on the Chopra thread came from JakeS:

Chopra? Gimme a friggin' break! The man is a class-A woo-woo.

This insulting and obscene comment was still rated 4.0 the last time I looked...

And for some reason metavision is apologizing and the "community" graciously accepts the apology.

Are there actually standards, or is it just tyranny of the majority?

No defense of metavision allowed!

Before another of my many identities disappears, I have to say that it's not only Jerome who makes EuroTrib worthwhile, but Pierre also wrote some very interesting and challenging comments on my diaries, igor vincha is totally unpredictable and willing to respond stylishly to posts that come from the eerie beyond, and metavision contributed an openness of spirit that is the rarest of all things on these clubby little blogs.

Your comment was not deleted, it was toggled by mistake. I undid the toggle (it wasn't originally toggled by me). It is now rated 1.16 with 6 retings awarded. It just needs two more members of the community to rate it with a zero and it will be hidden. Since you're not a trusted user you can't see hidden comments. To become a trusted user you need to write a large number of comments that the community rates highly.

If you stopped sowing discord you might increase your chances of becoming a trusted user.
